Program Manager

Position Overview

The Program Manager is responsible for expanding Teeny Violini’s external reach and impact by managing external partnerships and overseeing programming execution. This role requires a dynamic individual who can build and maintain relationships with partner schools, identify opportunities for program expansion, and oversee the execution of programs. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential for ensuring the successful delivery of our curriculum to preschools, early learning centers, and afterschool programs.

Tasks

- Coordinate and schedule music class demos at various preschools, early learning centers, and afterschool programs.

- Assist the HR Manager in maintaining detailed records of class schedules, expenses, and other operational data.

- Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist to develop social media content and engagement strategies.

- Collaborate with the HR Manager to develop team meeting agendas and coordinate weekly team meetings with admin staff.

- Attend weekly team and administration meetings.

- Observe program execution, provide feedback, and support curriculum refinement to ensure adherence to Teeny Violini’s educational and artistic standards.

- Use the sling app to track hours and manage tasks via the provided task list on Google Sheets.

- Oversee equipment maintenance, inventory, and procurement.Assist the CEO in developing grant opportunities, proposals, and drafts.

- Ensure timely collection and organization of feedback surveys from partner schools.

- Research and identify potential partners that align with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

- Lead negotiations to form partnerships, including drafting, reviewing, and finalizing partnership agreements, contracts, and memorandums of understanding (MOUs).

- Build and maintain relationships with current and potential partner schools to ensure program alignment.

- Monitor and evaluate the performance and outcomes of partnerships and report progress and results.

- Oversee the execution of music classes, ensuring smooth scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.

- Serve as a backup instructor when necessary to maintain program continuity.

- Collaborate with the HR Manager to develop operational reports and documents.

- Assist the CEO in identifying and developing grant opportunities, proposals, and drafts.

- Expand community outreach and networking initiatives to enhance program visibility.

- Ensure that all partnership activities comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

- Plan and coordinate logistics for all Teeny Violini-related events.

- Attend all partner events, professional development opportunities, and networking meetings.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies, goals, and procedural enhancements.

- Provide comprehensive administrative support through calendar management, file management, and drafting communications.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or relevant field (required).

- 2+ years experience in arts administration, education program management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of arts-based curriculum development and implementation.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- 2+ years of music teaching experience, preferably in early childhood education.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in using standard office software and digital tools.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting.

Compensation

- $20-$25 per hour (35 to 40 hours per week, hybrid work environment)

- Paid Time Off (PTO) - after a 6 month waiting period

- 401(k)
