Thomas Martinez was born and raised in Miami and has been playing violin for over 20 years. Thomas went to Coral Reef High School where he was a student in the Visual and Performing Arts Academy and spent his first semester in college as a violin performance major. Thomas switched majors and universities a few times and eventually received a degree in history, but music remained an important part of his life; while attending the University of New Mexico, he played in the university symphony and taught violin to elementary and middle school aged kids. Thomas is very passionate about sharing his love for music and is very excited for the opportunity to do that with Teeny Violini!
